She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lewis and Juanita Ellen Cross Kinsey; her former husband Jim Pettyjohn; and her brother John Larry Kinsey. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Cordell; her children, James David Pettyjohn (Tonya) and Catherine Ellen Pettyjohn; her brother Terry Kinsey (Jacqueline) of LaFayette, GA; her granddaughters, Sarah Grace Pettyjohn and Laura Catherine Pettyjohn; and her great grandchildren, Dallas Cade, Murphy, Margo and Miles Ledbetter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Homes - LaFayette Chapel (1779 N Main St, LaFayette, GA 30728). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
