She was predeceased by: her husband Reverend John Emrick; and her parents, Charles Sittloh and Ruth Sittloh. She is survived by: her children, Steve Emrick (Winnie) and Shirley Thomason (Ferrell); her grandchildren, Misty Reed (Shain), Nita Slatton and Jeff Kimbro; and her great grandchildren, Chloe Brady and James Slatton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home and Crematory-South Crest (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakewood Memory Gardens South (325 Greens Lake Rd, Rossville, GA 30741).
