She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Lee Ballard and Thelma Shell Ballard; her husband Lebron Hixon; and her siblings, Charles Ballard, Glenda Collins and Doris Assmann.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Diane Marks and Cyndi Kaye Turner (Tony); her sister Linda Jett; and her grandchildren, Shane Marks, Kelly Marks, Jordan Price, Bo Price and Chad Price. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren & great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes - Fort Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Tennessee/Georgia Memorial Park (724 Hogan Rd, Rossville, GA 30741).
