She is survived by: her children, Tammy Nelson of Chickamauga, GA, Martha Elrod (Christopher) of Trenton, GA, William Nelson of LaFayette, GA, Patricia Norton (Joshua) of LaFayette, GA and James Nelson of Rome, GA; her grandchildren, Katie Elrod, Cody Elrod, Jacob Nelson, Madison Grace Nelson, Mackenzie Nelson and Isabella Norton; her great grandchildren, Sam Elrod and Hudson Elrod; and her sisters, Lois Baisden of Chickamauga, GA and Jackie Dalton of Chickamauga, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Homes - LaFayette Chapel (1779 N Main St, LaFayette, GA 30728). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
