It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joshua Ray McBurnett of Rossville, Georgia, born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 7, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Tabitha Kelley McBurnett; his parents, Donnie McBurnett and Sherrie McBurnett; his children, Elizabeth McBurnett and Carson McBurnett; his stepchildren, McKenzie Motley and Deserae Motley; his sister Nikki Shortt (Tim); his sisters-in-law, Beverly Kelley and Jana Kelley; his nieces, Alesya, Trinity, Brayleigh and Teresa Wilson; his close friend Coco; and his parents-in-law, Janet Downey (Tom), Don Kelley and Danny Burton. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes - Fort Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
