He is survived by: his son James Allen Reed (Kelly); his granddaughters, Avery and Lola; his mother Diane Key; his brother Jerry Reed of Athens; and his aunt Paulla Key.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel - Ft. Oglethorpe Heritage Funeral Homes Fort Oglethorpe (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A committal service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Braswell Cemetery - Adrian.
