It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Gaither Evans (Rossville, Georgia), who passed away on September 5, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. "Bob" Evans; her son Raymond W. Steele; her parents, Margaret S. Gaither and William Louis Gaither; and also William L. "Bill" Gaither, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughter Jeannie Steele Poulos; and her stepchildren, Rebe W. Evans and Jacqueline E. Schwinghammer.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Rock Spring Methodist Church.
