He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby West and William West, Jr.; and his siblings, Kenneth West and Vickie Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Marsha West; his children, Larry West of LaFayette, William West (Misty) of LaFayette, Lois Sue McClendon (Mike) of Soddy Daisy, Monica Burgess (Jonathan) of Tunnel Hill, George Miles (Crystal) of LaFayette and Ginger Hester of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee; and his brother Billy West (Shelia) of LaFayette, Georgia. He is also survived by Eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Homes - LaFayette Chapel (1779 N Main St, LaFayette, GA 30728). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Tennessee/Georgia Memorial Park (724 Hogan Rd, Rossville, GA 30741).
