He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ezekial Kay (J. E.) and Alice Payne Kay; and his siblings, David Kay, William Clayton Kay, Nancy Morgan and Sue Shipp.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Palmour (Albert), Kenneth Kay (Hannah) and Brad Kay; and his siblings, Raymond Kay and Liz Zornes (Elaine Pruitt). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
