James R. Boles Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Boles (Rossville, Georgia), born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on March 24, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. Boles and Mamie Rogers Boles; his siblings, Patsy Ruth Johnson, Bonnie Jean Boles and Robert Johnson; and his son-in-law Todd Andrew Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Sumiko Boles; his children, Minako Barry (David), Tina Smith Zitzow (Eric) and Ted R. Boles (Angelia); his granddaughters, Emily Barry Morton (Cole), Amanda Boles Rambousek (Alex), Madison Boles and Hannah Barry; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
