He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Stockburger and Frances Dannel Stockburger; and his sisters, Patsy Maples and Joyce Gowin. He is survived by: his wife Ann Stockburger; his sons, Harold Stockburger Jr. (Joy Michelle) and Lynn Stockburger (Carla); his siblings, Thomas, Calvin, Edwin and Margaret Stockburger; and his grandchildren, Daniel Stockburger, Chad Stockburger, Beth Hurst, Lauren Morgan, Heath Hammond and Holly Bryant. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory (3239 Battlefield Pkwy, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lakewood Memory Gardens (325 Greens Lake Rd, Rossville, GA 30741).
