It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freddy Slayton (Rossville, Georgia), born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on September 21, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Freddy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Freddy has bequeathed us. He was predeceased by: his mother Sissy Slayton; his grandparents, JD, Edith Bridges and John Hicks; and his great-grandparent Paul Fred Slayton, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Debra Slayton; his father Pete Slayton; his stepchildren, Brandon Cogbill and Melissa Zenner; his brothers, Dennis Slayton and Kenny Slayton (Lisa); his nephew Kenneth Harold Slayton, Jr.; and his niece Savannah Rae. He is also survived by other friends and extend family members.
