He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hix and Eileen Hix; and his brother Mark Hix. He is survived by: his wife Terrie Hix; and his siblings, Johnny Hix (Sandy), Mary Hopp (Rick), Peter Hix (Toni), Carl Hix (Julie), Amy Redmond (Kurt), Lucy Croft (Billy), Andy Hix (Maurine) and Celia Schoeberlein (Jeff). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
