With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Effie Madaris of Rossville, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Black and Lynette Black; her husband J. B. Madaris (John); and her brother Randall Black. She is survived by: her children, Dorayn Madaris of Rossville, Georgia, Daphney Scoggins (Tim) of Rossville and Denise LaNeve Ridge (Robbie) of Signal Mountain, Tennessee; her sisters, Deloris Anderson of Chattanooga and Linda Sizemore of Rainsville, Alabama; her grandchildren, Hollie Hulgan, Nicholas Scoggins and Dylan Madaris; and her great grandchildren, Julia, Aiden and Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30742). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at the Lakewood Memory Gardens ~ West (3809 Cummings Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37419).
