He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Frye and Marie Fowler; his wife Jeanette Lawson Frye; and his siblings, Beverly Scott of Roswell, Walter Frye of Canton, Terry Frye of Duluth and Robert Frye of Canton.
He is survived by: his children, Eddie Frye (Debbie) of Lafayette and Lisa Finch (Keith) of Rossville; his siblings, Andy Fowler of McDonald, Cindy Lewis of Canton and Betty Whitley of Cummings; his grandchildren, Evan Dodd (Kati), Kelli Frye, Skyler Bragg (Alex) and Edward Lee Frye III; and his little buddy Dustin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
