She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edward Carnes and Lois Mae Carnes; and her siblings, Jim Horton, J. B. Horton and Ina Mae Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Ted Pritchett (Susan) of Ringgold and Jan Fowler (Curtis) of Chickamauga; her grandchildren, Mindy Constance (Joel), Amy Presnell (Andy), Katie Evans (Trey) and Tyler Pritchett; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Mitchell, Levi Mitchell, Emily Drew Presnell, Corbin Keith and Josie Presnell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
