She was predeceased by: her parents, Vinnie Jones Cole and William Cole of Hooker, Georgia.; her husband Jimmy Silman; and her siblings, Mary, Elsie May, Eveleen, Arthur Lee, Jessie Obie and William Cole.

She is survived by: her children, Johnnie, Larry, June, Annette Silmon and James Silmon; her grandchildren, Johnathan Silmon and Madelyn Silman; her great grandchild Devin; and her sister Geraldine Strickland. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
