With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dora S. Lovett of Rossville, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess F. Williams and Ethel S. Williams; her brothers, Ray, Jack and Thayer Williams; her great-grandbaby Hagen Taylor; her daughter-in-law Brenda Lovett; and her aunt Birdie Williams.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Lovett; her children, Barbara Arce, Joseph M. Lovett (Tonya), Michael T. Lovett and Kodie Ann Dean (Marshall); her grandchildren, Jessica Raue (Christopher), Brooke Lovett, Tabitha Pitts (Brian), Katie Woodward (Johnny), Megan Thomas (Justin) and Levi Skiles; and her brothers, Bob (Judy) and Tom Williams (Peggy). She is also survived by her 26 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home - South Crest Chapel (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
