He is survived by: his wife Patsy Day Grimes; his children, John David Grimes and Donna Cheryl Goins (Gordon "Buddy"); his grandchildren, Amanda Lomenick, Chelsea Ramsey and B. J. Goins (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Kayden Sanders, Brody Howard, Emmitt Lomenick, Rhett Goins and Jaxson Lomenick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Home and Crematory-South Crest (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the Tn Ga Memorial.
