She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Christian and Clara Ross Christian; her husband Bob Bird; and her son-in-law Terry Owen. She is survived by: her children, Michael Bird (Debbie) of Greenville, SC, Rusty Bird (Debbie), Chattanooga and Sheila Owen of Cocoa, FL; and her siblings, John Christian of Fort Worth, TX, Harold "Red" Christian of Conyers, GA and Helen Stephenson of Rock Spring, GA. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
