He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Connie Mae Edmondson; his children, Mitch Edmondson, Tina Barbee (Doug) of Trenton, Allen Edmondson (Kim) of Chickamauga and Lisa Ferrick (Robert) of Chattanooga; and his father Raze Avery. He was also cherished by six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Gentiva Hospice, 430 Stuart Rd. Cleveland, TN 37312.
