She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Johnston and Thelma Johnston; the father of her children Doc Williams; and her son-in-law John Jackson. She is survived by: her stepmother Virginia Johnston; her children, Carole Jackson, Amanda Millians (Eric) and James Williams (Dia); her grandchildren, Alex Jackson, Jessica Scudgins, Dexter Scudgins (Latoya), Courtney Justice (Cody) and Levi Scudgins (Hillary); and her son Hunter Rains. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Lane Funeral Home - South Crest Chapel (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lakewood Memory Gardens South (325 Greens Lake Rd, Rossville, GA 30741).
