He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Battle; and his brother Joe Pickett. He is survived by: his wife Carla Chandler Pickett; and his children, Rick Richard Pickett, Jr., Jeremy Pickett, Jason Pickett, Heather Pickett, Jamie Chandler, William Jackson and Pamela Farrow.
