Billy B. Lyons Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Billy B. Lyons (Rossville, Georgia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Billy left this world on June 25, 2024 at the age of 101, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Billy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Billy farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by : his wife Dona. He is survived by : his daughter Debbie Cooper (Steve); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Dickert, Jennifer Cochrane (Tony), Corey Cooper (Shannon) and Georgia. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; four nephews, two nieces, great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes - Fort Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30741). A memorial service was held on Sunday, June 30th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
