It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Atchley of Rossville, Georgia, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on May 8, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phil Metcalf and Mary Metcalf; her husband Robert Donald Atchley; her son Robert Steven Atchley; and her sisters, Doris Fulghum and Margaret Cook.
She is survived by: her son Mitchell Atchley; her grandson Perry Atchley (Elizabeth); her siblings, Sue Dunn, Ruth Patrick, Lula Kerley and Phil Metcalf (Sandra); and her great grandchildren, Charlotte and Ellie Kate Atchley. She is also survived by several Nieces, Nephews, cousins.
