She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles David and Ida Kate Alton; her son David Strutton; and her brothers, Clyde Alton and Pat Moiser.
She is survived by: her husband Don Strutton; her daughter Dana McCoy (James); her grandchildren, Jessica Debter (Chase), Thomas McCoy and Chelsey Tucker (Jimmy); and her great grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashlynne, Allie Debter, Annalee and Charlie Tucker. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Lane Funeral Home and Crematory-South Crest (833 Chickamauga Ave, Rossville, GA 30741). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at the Lakewood East Memory Gardens (4621 Shallowford Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37411).
