He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruel A "Red" Scarborough and Ellen Estelle Higginbotham; and his siblings, Katherine Robinson, Gene Scarborough and Billy Scarborough.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Davis Scarborough; and his children, Carl, Judy Scarborough of Bremen, Clay and Michelle Scarborough of Roopville. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
