It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robbie A. Merrell of Roopville, Georgia, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robbie Alexander Merrell Sr. and Marie Pettey Merrell; and his wife Retta Roundtree Merrell. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan (Phil Cantrell) and Nancy (Michael Moore); his brother Charles; his sister-in-law Linda Merrell; and his former wife Rebecca Dean Fordyce.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Bob's name to one of the following.
