Peggy Gordon Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Gordon of Roopville, Georgia, born in Monroe, Georgia, who passed away on March 29, 2023 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy Gordon to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil McElhannon and Lois Doster McElhannon; her husband Jeff Gordon; and her brother Bennie McElhannon. She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Taylor Gordon (Catherine) of Carrollton and Ben Gordon (Pam) of Roopville; her grandchildren, Rev. Andrew Gordon (Julie) of Macon, Allison, Zach Gordon (Katey) of Carrollton, Alex Gordon (Mary Kate Groninger) of Carrollton and Ross Gordon (Caroline Thompson) of Roopville; and her great grandchildren, Cesia Gordon, Molly Cornay and Amalia Gordon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
