He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Louie and Mammie Norton Howard; and his siblings, Gertis Howard, Raymond Howard and Irene Baughtman.
He is survived by: his brother Rayburn Lamar Howard; and his daughters, Gretta Milam of Lagrange, Aimee Trippe of White Plains, AL, Mareia Richardson of Carrollton, Regeneia Smith of Gadsden, AL, Lenetta Shadinger of Carrollton, Gretchen Elmore of Gadsden, AL and Heather Massey of Roopville. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
