She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Larry Atkinson and Pinkie Knowles Atkinson; her husband Tom McGuire; her sons, Charles Elbert Davis, Jr. and Larry Davis; and her siblings, Angie Davis, Lilamae Johnson, Glenn Atkinson and Royce Atkinson.
She is survived by: her children, Alesia Anderson (Timothy) of Roopville and Juanita Shelnutt (Scott) of Franklin; and her brothers, Cecil Atkinson of Thomasville, Weldon Atkinson of Thomasville and W. D. Goodson of Florida. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
