He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Amerson and Mary Pearl Conner Amerson; and his siblings, Wretha Brown and Mack Amerson. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Smith Amerson; his children, Freddy Amerson (Nikia), Stacey Bowman (Tim) and Jason Amerson (Angela); his grandchildren, Joseph Bowman (Katie), Katlyn Bowman, Selena Amerson, Garrett Amerson and Madelyn Amerson; and his great grandchildren, Alyssa Bowman and Melody Bowman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
