He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Bowen and Mary Inez Phillips. He is survived by: his children, Joy Martin (Bill), Wayne Thomas Bowen, Jr. and Candace King (Doug). He is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; he had three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel (2542 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
