It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Inez Howard of Rome, Georgia, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Vester Baggett and Gladys Phelps Baggett; her former husband Joe William Howard; and her brother Carlton Baggett. She is survived by: her family Georgia; her husband New Armuchee Baptist Church; her daughters, Jori Ann Day (Jim) and Gina Montgomery; her sister Linda Johnson; her grandchildren, Jaime Day, Cody Hale, Cameron Day, Jordan Day (Jessica), Caitlin Hale, Sydney Grace Wilson (Parker), Emma Kate Day and Aimee Montgomery; and her great grandchildren, Dexter Witt (Katilyn), Kayleigh Day, Kyrie Day, Ava Crowe and Mason Colleps. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the North Chapel (4900 Martha Berry Hwy, Rome, GA 30165). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
