We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2021, at the age of 94, Vernon Henry Morris of Rome, Georgia, born in Gordon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank "Shorty" Morris and Ruby Martin Morris; his wife Mary Kate Johnson Morris; his sons, Perry Morris and Tommie Morris; his grandson Matthew Little; and his siblings, Andrew Morris, Charles Morris, Viola Mann, Jeanell Brannen, Katheryn Gault and Nettie Choate.

He is survived by: his children, Doyle Morris (Syble), John Morris and Sharon Morris Little (William); his grandchildren, Ginger Parks, Dana Bostick, Stephen Morris, Jason Morris, Rachel Butler, Nathan Morris, Ben Morris and Joseph Little; and his brothers, Arthur Morris, Harold Morris, Roy Morris and Thurmon Morris. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
