It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Louise Griggs of Rome, Georgia, born in Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on September 10, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gilbert Carroll and Annie May Carroll (Lackey); and her husband William McKinley Griggs. She is survived by: her grandson Jason Griggs (Kara); her great grandchild Murphy Griggs; her daughter-in-law Retha Griggs; and her niece Phyllis Low. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
