She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Fricks, Jr. and Betty Jones Fricks. She is survived by: her husband Donnie Godfrey; her children, Jonathan Evans Godfrey and Jennifer Elizabeth Hyman (Adam); her grandchildren, Henry Evans Hyman and Elizabeth "Betsy" Evans Hyman; her stepgrandchildren, Lily Eads and Logan Eads; and her siblings, Tommy Evans Fricks (Gina), Garry Evans Fricks (Cindy) and Jenny Holdbrooks (Bruce). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Access Church (1905 Calhoun Rd NE, Rome, GA 30161). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Home of Tommy and Gina Fricks.
