It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Velie Hannay of Rome, Georgia, born in Greenville, New York, who passed away on April 14, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Byron Velie and Elizabeth Finch Velie; her husband Richard "Dick" Hannay; and her sister Doris Elizabeth Velie Hannay. She is survived by: her sons, Curtis Richard Hannay of Afton, WY and Dr. Keith Hannay (Marsha) of Centre, AL; her grandchildren, Christopher Andrew Hannay, Zachary Curtis Hannay (Alyssa) of Orlando, FL, Rebekah Susanne Jordan (Justin) of Leesburg, VA, Amanda Lynn Clark (Aaron) and Dr. Mark Richard Hannay of Kingsville, TX; and her great grandchildren, Canon James Jordan, Taylor Anne Jordan, Logan Grace Clark and Harper June Clark. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
