She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Tanner and Edna Harris Tanner; and her siblings, Arthur, James, Daniel Tanner, Tressie Tanner and Yvonne Tanner.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Johnny Lawrence, Lawrence Highfield and Johnny Highfield; her sister Edna Allen; her husband Jessie Barroso; her children, Terry Highfield, Gary Highfield, Janice Reynolds and Melissa Alexander; and her caregiver Aide. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home (2750 Shorter Ave, Rome, GA 30165). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
