He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward West Hine, Sr. and Nellie Shiflett Hine. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Street Hine; his children, Judith Marie Hine, Susan Hine Duke (David) and John P. Hine, Jr. (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Edward Duke (Lauren), Camille Shaw (Taylor), Sara Katherine White (Isaac), Emma Duke Ferrugia (Joey), Will Beecham, Julia Hine and Addie Duke; his great grandchild Noa Jane White; and his sister-in-law Barbara Briley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Saint Peter's Episcopal Church.
