She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold W. Spies and Sadie F. Compton Spies; her husband Danny Davis of Rome, GA; her daughter Emily Davis Mixon (Michael); her grandchildren, Lillian F. Mixon and Alexander M. Mixon; her siblings, Arthur Spies (Mary Jane) of Ankeny, IA, Harold W. Spies Jr. of Beaumont, TX and Susan Reinhart (Roger) of Fargo, ND; and her brother-in-law Joseph C. Davis (Susan) of Powder Springs, GA. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Daniels Funeral Home (901 E 2nd Ave, Rome, GA 30161).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Lustgarten Foundation: Pancreatic Cancer Research or the American Cancer Society for the advancement of Pancreatic Cancer Research.
