We bid farewell to Janie Branyan Peacock (Rome, Georgia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 11, 2025 at the age of 92. Janie Branyan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Oliver Branyan and Lillian Moffitt Branyan. She is survived by: her significant other Hugh C. Peacock Jr.; her son Chris (Michelle); her grandchildren, Thomas and Mary Charlotte of San Jose; her son Bran (Meghan) of Gainesville; and her great-nieces, Melissa Marlow, Tracey Marlow, Carrie Hodges, Terri Smith and Brandi Smith.
A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens (80 Church St NE, Rome, GA 30161). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (100 E 4th Ave, Rome, GA 30161).
