He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alma Jenkins Cook and Panama Canal Zone; his sons, Sean of Boise, ID and Jamie of Athens, GA; his sister Nancy of Dunwoody, GA.; his nephew Geoey (Michelle); his children, Evie of Atlanta and Chris (Traci); his grandchildren, Kara Anne and Will of Nashville, TN.; his wife Cleta Doan Hardy; and also, Jeff (Stacy), Drew and Moriah of Rome.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cook Scholarship at Georgia Highlands College or to Northside Church.
