He was predeceased by: his father James Richard Ware; his wife Joan Farr Ware; and his brother David Alfred "Dan" Ware. He is survived by: his mother Bonnie Mae Henderson Ware; his son Dr. J. Michael Ware (Katherine); his grandchildren, Ashley Ware Anglin (Justin), Zachary Michael Ware (Corinne), Megan Ware O'Hara (Adam) and Pam Petroski Ware; his stepgrandchildren, Jessica Dempsey (Drew), Kaitlyn Dowdy and Hunter Dowdy; his great grandchildren, Sullivan Anglin, Rosie Anglin, Reese Dempsey and Ridge Ware; his brother Macon Hugh Ware (Phyllis); and his nieces and nephews, Danette Ware Ozment, Lynn Ware Spratling (Tim), Steve Ware (Pam), Jim Ware (Amber) and Holly Farr.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Lindale (9 Park Ave SE, Lindale, GA 30147). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
