He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Tyler and Nina Bolin Tyler; his wife Carol Rolan; his siblings, Nancell, Hollis, Marvin, Huey Tyler, Sue Evette and Celia Puckett; and his son-in-law Jimmy Parris.
He is survived by: his children, Cherie Parris of Rome and Rodney Tyler (Len) of Rome; his grandchildren, Jaime Bragdon (Clay), Brett Tyler (Catherine), Sadie Belcher (Zachaery), Erin Helton (Trace) and Emily Thompson (David); his great grandchildren, Mason Martin, Dakota Bragdon, Logan Bragdon, Iris Bragdon, Leah Helton, Evan Helton, Naomi Belcher and Jonathan Thompson; and his brother Sam Tyler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the North Rome Church of God (1929 N Broad St, Rome, GA 30161). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
