He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. McCreary and Lillian Gowens Stansell. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Curry McCreary; his children, Shawn McCreary (Candi) and LeAnn Potts (John); his grandchildren, Liberty McCreary, Piper McCreary, Colby Reece (Chelsea), Chyanne Reece, Cyndal Reece, Canyon Potts, Taylor Conway (Matt), Austin Potts and Jace Potts; his great grandchildren, Memphis Greene, Canaan Conway, Camden Potts, Kindel Casey and Kalleigh Potts; and his siblings, Ray Stansell, Frank McCreary, Earl McCreary and Patricia Moore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request donations be made to the Gideon Society to purchase Bibles or to East Floyd Masonic Lodge #728.
