With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Milstead Beard (Rome, Georgia), who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Jesse and Clara Faye Pettyjohn Milstead; her son Joe Brown "Jody" Beard, III; and her siblings, Doyle Milstead, Annie Ruth Lasseter, Charles Milstead, Bennie Milstead and Janie Kilgo.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Brown Beard, Jr.; her daughters, Sandy Kelley (Bruce) and Jennifer Thompson (Jeff); her grandchildren, Matt Kelley (Hollynne Tuck), Katie Ray (Michael), Kristian Roberts (Austin), Cade Thompson and Cason Thompson; her great grandchildren, Taytum Kelley, Piper Kelley and Easton Ray; and her brother Levi Junior Milstead.
