He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lariscy and Annie Lee Waters Lariscy; his siblings, William H., Sr. (Joyce Lariscy), James (Bernice Lariscy) and Thelma Bowen; his brothers-in-law, Jake Bird and Walter Prevatt; and his great grandchild James Kirby Smith, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Miriam Elizabeth Howard Lariscy; his daughter Tina M. of Rocky Ford; his son-in-law Nicky R. Johnson of Rocky Ford; and his sisters, Mary Bird of Augusta, Beatrice Lariscy of Statesboro and Dorothy Prevatt.
