He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Wallace Collins and Lois Cail Collins; his daughter Renée Collins; and his siblings, Virginia Collins Pullias, Leonard Wallace Collins, Leslie Harrison Collins, Frankin Eugene Collins, Larry James Collins and Thomas "Tom" Jackson Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Collins; his children, Stephanie Shurling (Lloyd) of Portal, GA and Greg Collins (Molly) of Wilmington Island, GA; his grandchildren, Caleb Collins, Anna Collins and Brandon Shurling; and his brother Kenneth Emanuel Collins (Ann). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rocky Ford Baptist Church (129 Main St, Rocky Ford, GA 30455). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Rocky Ford Cemetery (5508 Scarboro Hwy, Rocky Ford, GA 30455).
