He is survived by: his children, John David Tice III of Dalton and Melissa Tice Gill of Euless, Texas.; his grandchildren, Ty Gill of Portland and Lily Gill of Euless, Texas.; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Daniel Mahaffey of LaGrange, GA., Diane Daniel Mahaffey of Avondale Estates, GA., Marie Daniel Hardy and Dan of Sandy Springs, GA.; his nieces and nephews, Ila Jo Mahaffey Worthen (Thacher), Tommy Mahaffey, Jr. (Margarita), Danny Mahaffey, Matthew Mahaffey, Lee Mahaffey Steinour (Sean), Jim Mahaffey (Christina), Dan Hardy, Jr. (Karie), Ann Hardy Marriaga (Charlie) and Laura Hardy Campbell (Clint); his close friend Joan Brown; and his friends, Betty Brown, Maurice, Betty Sponcler, Fred Mayfield, Robert E., Dottie Shaw, Ron, Loretta Harris, Billie Little, Charlie and Sarah Miller.
